Zea marina is located in Piraeus in Athens and it is one of the finest superyacht marinas in the Mediterranean. A port with great ancient history as it was a Naval base where the fleet of triremes was built. Ruins of the ancient walls of the base can still be found in the marina. The Naval Museum of Greece is also situated in Zea marina. The Marina, fully organized, offering modern facilities and services, was totally renovated for the 2004 Olympic Games. The total capacity is 670 berths, on both permanent and floating pontoons. Moorings are available for boats up to 150 meters long. Zea is one of the favourite marinas to crews as it is totally embraced by the city of Piraeus and there is an endless list of things you can do within walking distance from the marina. Shopping centres, cinemas restaurants, bars and all services related to yachts are in the immediate vicinity of the marina. Within the port, customers can find restaurants, bars, a swimming pool, a chandlery shop and the Port Police office. The marina operates all year round on a 24-hour basis. The Marina of Agios Nikolaos is a well protected marina in all weather conditions, it is built to European standards and is capable of accommodating up to 255 boats all year round up to a maximum of 70min length. . The various dry dock facilities for approximately 100 boats and technical services are professionally run and complimented by a 65 tons travel lift. The Marina of Agios Nikolaos is located in the heart of the town and provides easy access to the centre of town, the main archaeological sites and other places of interest. Lake Voulismeni is one of the most famous lakes in all of Greece and was believed to be blessed by Zeus and Poseidon with rich waters abundant with fish and Pearl Clams.
