Built at Damen Yachting’s specialist facility in Antalya, Turkey, the Xplorer 60 features exterior design by Azure Yacht Design and naval architecture from Damen Yachting. The first Xplorer 60 to take to the waves, AFTER YOU was delivered this August and has an interior from UK-based studio H2 Yacht Design. And this 60-metre advances Damen Yachting’s Xplorer line a step further, paving the way for larger models at 80 and 105 metres. She has a hybrid power and propulsion system with battery banks, a fully certified helideck, and is Ice Class with IMO Polar Code compliant engineering.
With a striking profile and unmistakable presence on the water, the Xplorer 60 is as comfortable cruising the glamorous hotspots of the Mediterranean as she is navigating polar frontiers.

The Xplorer 60 sports a bold and eye- catching exterior aesthetic, and builds on the award-winning design legacy of her 58-metre predecessor. The yacht has a 14.5-knot top speed, and a 5,000nm range at 11.5 knots. Supremely luxurious, extremely capable, and undeniably ambitious, the Xplorer 60 is for owners who seek to push the boundaries of conventional superyachting.
AFTER YOU offers accommodation for 12 guests in six suites and operates with a crew of 16. The guest areas span three decks and amenities include two substantial saloon lounges, formal, casual and al fresco dining spaces, a sauna and an Alpine steam room. In total, the yacht boasts over 1,850 square metres of space – 150 of which comprise the heli deck, also serving as a party space for 100 guests or it can be setup as a half court for basketball.
“Aboard AFTER YOU, there is an incredible observation lounge in the bow for taking in unobstructed views of one’s surroundings,” explains Salih Saim Kaya, Project Manager at Damen Yachting. “Other highlights of her design include a state-of-the-art AV/ IT system, a large swim platform with beachclub furniture, and stowage space on the main deck for a 10m limousine tender.”
“The way the design concept for an Xplorer 60 has been conceived, makes an enormous level of flexibility possible,” says Tintore. “I love to hear our clients’ ideas for their own special Xplorer. Adaptations can be made to make the yacht more attuned to polar extremes or tropical climates, or particularly delicate marine environments but, in short, an Xplorer can do it all.”
“Our owners don’t want limits,” says Sarah Flavell, Marketing Manager at Damen Yachting. “The Xplorer 60, 80, and 105 are for avoiding the ordinary, exploring the remote and experiencing the new, and that’s an exciting proposition for the shipyard to be presenting.” That proposition has huge appeal on the charter market, too. AFTER YOU is the third Xplorer to join the international charter fleet, with those already available enjoying immediate popularity.
