As one of the largest floating marinas in the western Indian Ocean, its sheltered, inland setting guarantees calm waters and secure mooring. With its stern-to configuration aligning with the northeast and southwest trade winds, the marina ensures stable and safe anchorage for all visiting yachts.
Purpose-built to welcome superyachts, cruising yachts and local leisure craft, Eden Island Marina spans more than 1,000 metres of piled pontoons, with 180 metres dedicated exclusively to larger vessels. Offering both stern-to and alongside berthing, the marina features water depths between 15 and 20 metres, and a 5-metre draft maintained at the entrance channel.
Each berth is equipped with modern service pedestals managed by the advanced Rolec Berth Master system, enabling detailed oversight and accurate billing of all utilities consumed while docked.
The superyacht pontoon, measuring 4 metres wide with a freeboard of 500mm to 750mm, can accommodate either stern-to or alongside mooring, supported by bow buoys where required. To enhance night-time safety and visibility, the walkways are illuminated with efficient solar-powered lighting.
For emergency readiness, the marina maintains three mobile Fire Caddies, each delivering up to 250 litres per minute through 38mm lay-flat hoses, ensuring rapid deployment should the need arise. This robust infrastructure provides reassurance to yacht owners, captains and guests alike.
A strong partnership with The Yacht Agent and Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS), established in 2022, reinforces Eden Island’s reputation for full-service yacht support. Their on-site office offers comprehensive assistance, simplifying everything from logistics to local cruising arrangements.
Beyond the docks, Eden Island offers a sophisticated lifestyle experience within walking distance. Three commercial hubs feature offices, specialty boutiques, cafés and fine dining options, creating a vibrant marina village atmosphere. The elegant Eden Plaza, designed in an open-air style, hosts over 50 establishments ranging from designer stores to restaurants and professional services.
