Marina paradise
Welcome to Eden Island Marina, a world class superyacht facility seamlessly integrated within the breathtaking Seychelles archipelago
Built-in 2007, Eden Island Marina is a world-class superyacht facility seamlessly integrated with the prestigious Eden Island luxury residential projects. It is the gateway to Seychelles’ captivating Archipelago; our marina offers an unparalleled berthing experience for vessels of all sizes, including superyachts up to 120 metres. With its impressive size, Eden Island Marina is renowned as one of the largest floating marinas in the Seychelles and the entire western Indian Ocean. Due to its location on the inland side of Eden Island, the Marina offers favourable and sheltered conditions. With Stern to berthing, boats line with both prevailing winds (SE & NW).
The Marina offers facilities for superyachts of up to 120m, cruising yachts and local leisure crafts. There are over 1000m of piled pontoon berths and 180m available for superyachts, with stern-to-berthing and alongside berthing. The water depth in the marina basin is approximately 15- 20m; however, the approach channel to the marina is restricted to 5m.
All service pedestals are individually controlled and monitored by a computerised Berth master system supplied by Rolec. This provides itemised billing for all services used by vessels.
The superyacht pontoon section is 4m wide and has a 500mm to 750mm freeboard. Berthing is available astern to or alongside, depending on occupancy. With stern-to berthing, there are mooring buoys for attaching the bow of the vessel. All pontoon walkways are illuminated with solar–powered lights.
As part of our commitment to safety, we have three mobile Fire Caddies, each equipped with 15mm of 38mm lay flat fire-fighting hose and a 250 litres per minute delivery capability. This ensures that we are always prepared to handle any emergency situation, providing peace of mind to our visitors and yacht owners.
In 2022, The Yacht Agent began a collaborative partnership with Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS), with an office opening in the marina. The agents offer a seamless service and a one-stop-shop when visiting the region and marina.
Adjacent to the marina and a short stroll away from your berth, you will find a multitude of services and amenities. Eden Island offers three commercial, office and retail centres providing ample options for your needs. The Eden Plaza with its beautiful architecture and open-air feel, offers the perfect mix of more than 50 shops, restaurants and businesses offering a fresh and modern atmosphere.
For your health related peace of mind, there is a medical centre, pharmacy, gym, hair saloon and the Eden Holistic Spa right on hand.
If you’re in need of some retail therapy, the Eden Plaza plays host to a wide selection of retail stores from clothing, jewellery, book stores to interior design and art galleries.
After your relaxing day when you’re ready for some nightlife, the Eden Island Marina has numerous bars and restaurants, where the boardwalk bar comes to life together with a nightclub and casino.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing or a vibrant time, Eden Island Marina has it all.
