Mediterranean Superyacht Forum

The evolution of The Balearic Superyacht Forum to lead the future of the yachting industry

After two days of intense debate, international participation, and high-quality content, The Balearic Superyacht Forum 2025 concluded with a strategic announcement of great significance for the future of the sector: beginning in 2026, the event will be renamed Mediterranean Superyacht Forum. The forum evolves to position the Mediterranean as a global epicenter of the superyacht industry.

This rebranding reflects the natural growth of a forum that, although born in the Balearic Islands, has expanded beyond regional boundaries to become an internationally oriented platform, capable of bringing together key players in the global superyacht sector.

A new vision, with the same commitment
The Mediterranean Superyacht Forum is born with a clear mission: to drive strategic dialogue, co-creation, and action around the major challenges of the international yachting sector from a Mediterranean perspective. While it will remain based in Palma, its scope is international, open to all regions and stakeholders in the superyacht ecosystem.

Its vision is to become the leading meeting point in Europe to address critical topics such as refit, digitalization, sustainability, talent development, operational excellence, marina management, and new business models.

Guillermo García, president of Balearic Marine Cluster, the event’s organizing entity, stated:
“With this name change, we are responding to an already evident reality. The forum no longer speaks only of the Balearics, but of the global challenges of the industry. The Mediterranean is a strategic hub for the superyacht sector and deserves a forum that matches its relevance. This evolution reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and international collaboration.”

Held on April 29–30 at the Palma Auditorium, the forum brought together over 250 professionals and 150 companies from across the industry. The program featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, innovation hackathons, and high-value networking opportunities. The event coincided with the opening of the Palma International Boat Show, reinforcing Palma’s international relevance during this key week for the nautical sector.

The rebranding is more than a name change — it is a statement of intent. The Mediterranean Superyacht Forum aims to become the essential annual meeting point for strategic thinking, collaboration, and global positioning of the Mediterranean yachting industry, engaging professionals, institutions, and businesses across the region.

The future of the industry depends on building bridges between regions, sharing knowledge, and shaping a united vision. The Mediterranean is a strategic superyacht hub, and we believe it deserves a forum that reflects that status,” added García.

With this step, Balearic Marine Cluster advances in its mission to strengthen the global competitiveness of the Balearic Islands’ yachting sector. Starting in 2026, the Mediterranean Superyacht Forum will become a must-attend event for all key players in the industry, addressing both operational and strategic challenges through the insights of international experts and active participation from across the value chain.

Mediterranean Superyacht Forum is a strategic gathering point for international yachting professionals. Held in Palma de Mallorca, the forum brings together industry leaders, experts, and companies from across the superyacht value chain to address key challenges, foster shared knowledge, and develop real solutions collaboratively.

With an innovative format combining roundtables, thematic hackathons, and networking spaces, the forum provides a unique environment to exchange ideas, anticipate trends, and strengthen alliances — all within the Mediterranean, a leading destination for large yachts.
