NCA Refit boasts a highly skilled team in the activities of refitting and repair of superyachts, megayachts and sailing yachts, plus it combines a range of premium services reserved for crew during these refit projects.
Over the past 70 years, the company has built a strong reputation for project management with the assistance of skilled engineers, architects and technicians to deliver high levels of planning and project execution.
To back the up the technical prowess within the company, the experienced administrative support offered to the customer covers all of your needs such as insurances, advice on border and customs issues and legal assistance. The team are on hand to advice and handle yacht or crew issues if and when they arise.
The NCA Refit internal audit team will also guarantee competitiveness with the best quality/price ratio while respecting the founding values of the business namely, transparency, and project delivery on time and in budget.
The facility also provides a fully dedicated concierge department that takes very good care of all the guests’ needs to make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.
Due to the unique port infrastructure in one of the Mediterranean’s most important naval hubs, the yard is able to host yachts up to 180 metres in length. The overall facility covers around 100,000 square metres of operations, 200 metres of private dry docks, a floating dock for yachts up to 90 metres.
At the moment, thanks to well structured investments carried out by The Italian Sea Group – NCA Refit, the site’s facilities are being expanded in order to increase their on-site hospitality and production capacity. Thanks to this progressive planning, hardstanding spaces will be trebled starting from July 2021 and a second dry dock (146l x 26w x 7.5d metres) will be finished in October 2021.
A team of over 45 employees, including engineers, interior architects and technical staff, is able to provide a complete and detailed check-up of the yacht, give clear guidance on the interventions to be performed and offer the most effective solution in compliance with the highest quality standards, whilst keeping an eye on cost control. The efficiency of the team combined with the remarkable structures allow all types of works, for example, the full re-painting of a 70 metre yacht can be completed in under 4 months.
Among the most recent and outstanding refitted yachts at NCA Refit, there are for example S/Y M5 78mt, M/Y INVICTUS 66mt, M/Y LUMIERE 62mt, S/Y MALTESE
FALCON 88mt, S/Y BADIS 70mt and many many more.
Efficiency and organisation, technical and management skills have allowed NCA to manage and deliver 112 projects in the past 4 years alone and are highly specialised in the sailing yacht segment due to the broadly experienced, talented and sailing yacht specific team.
AT YOUR SERVICE
NCA Refit offers a wide range of services including interior re-styling and design, full yacht paint and coatings, exterior and deck works, steelworks, teak, deck equipment, exterior transformations and exterior conversions. On the electronic side the team handle AV/IT and NAV-COM system upgrades or retro-fitting. Specific services to sailing yachts include staging mast, standing and running riggings and deck equipment.
