COMPASS TENDERS
Compass Tenders have been building custom tenders since 2004 and can now attest to having designed and built tenders for some of the most iconic superyachts afloat. Notable vessels in the Compass stable include two 10m tenders for a 110m Feadship, tenders for OceanCo’s 90m Dreamboat and tenders for Abeking & Rasmussen’s 68m Soaring. One of the yard’s most recent builds, was an 11.6m chase boat for Feadship’s 99.95m Moonrise. Comfort is king aboard the sleek and stylish chase boat, and up to 15 guests can be seated in safety. Compass often work with the same exterior stylist as for the mothership, ensuring that design characteristics are echoed in the tender, creating the perfect visual partnership. Compass Tenders also offer a production platform, their ‘Latitude’ range, which offers four style and layout variations. All utilise the same highly successful hull form, and the interior seating and finishes can be customised to suit owner requirements. This range has been extremely popular, with the decreased build time making them particularly desirable.

Is your tender as quiet as your car? The team at Yachtwerft Meyer believe that there is no need to compromise on comfort when it comes to tenders. One main focus for these incredibly advanced 9,2m D-Rib tenders was noise reduction; the two tenders use Rolls Royce jet drives and 400hp Volvo engines. Working from the engine beds to the air intakes and outlets – and the engine capsules, examining structure-borne sound and airborne sound – no element was left untouched. The result was an amazing 66dBa at the helm station when the boat is travelling at over 40 knots!

RIB-X
Rib-X offers the world’s largest range of SOLAS approved traditional RIB style tenders in 5.0m, 5.5m, 6.0m, 6.5m, 7.0m, 7.5m, 8.0m and D-Tube tenders at 7.0m and 7.5m. Rib-X also offer a custom design service for SOLAS tenders. Regulations affect virtually every component on a SOLAS approved tender, from the hull construction, the systems, engines, equipment, tubes etc. They all have to be built to exacting standards and there needs to be assurance of quality control throughout the entire build process through established and approved manufacturing standards and processes. Castoldi approaches year 2021 launching two new models: Jet Tender 23, a classic best-seller totally redesigned, whose deliveries already started in January and the all new Jet Tender 34, the largest flagship model of the range presently under construction, designed to be either a comfortable tender for transporting guests, well protected in a luxury lounge and a fast commuter reaching a true speed of 50 knots. The jet Tender 23 with a length of 7m and a beam of 2.60m has a low storage height of only 1.22m with the folded console. The tender is powered by either the 250mHP Yanmar diesel or the more powerful 370 mHP Yanmar diesel to speeds of over 40 knots. The propulsion system is the proven Casdtoldi waterjet unit Turbodirve 284 H.C.T. with hydraulic clutch, moveable grid and the Clear-Duct unclogging system.
