GRAF ONTARIO

GRAF ONTARIO

Some things can barely be optimised. For everything else there’s always room at the top. That’s why a trendsetting idea for a compact and sporty wooden motorboat has been on their minds for some time now. With a weight of just a little over 2 tonnes and a waterline of barely more than six metres, the Ontario embodies sportiness and an almost enchanting elegance with a width of less than 2.5 metres.

The version with an open transom radiates such an astounding superiority that one falls in love with it immediately. Of course, it is also available with a classic stern for the purists. The term “rear seat” actually doesn’t do justice to what the team have conceived for the area behind the driver’s seat. A sophisticated construction enables the seat to be used both in and contrary to the direction of travel. With the help of a variable table, a generously-sized double-length lying surface can be created. Graf are no ideologists, but our children’s world is dear to their hearts. That’s why they have always used oak and larch sourced from their own region for the substructure of their boats. What’s new with the Ontario is that they also offer the deck layer in domestic timbers – with a finish that is in no way inferior to the classic mahogany version. Graf have also considered the future where the drive is concerned. On request, an electric motor provides the necessary propulsion, coupled with unclouded joy on the water. In addition, the quality of their craftsmanship ensures that their boats can be bequeathed. Graf Bootsbau is a family business, now in its third generation, and has built and restored boatbuilding classics with craftsmanship for over 40 years. In this, every boat receives their signature and must meet the highest quality standards. Tradition and a high professional ethos are their guidelines for your satisfaction.
