Along the stunning Italian coastline of Liguria, Genoa boasts one of the most glamorous Unesco World Heritage sites in an area that is filled with amazing palazzos or grand palaces just beyond the harbour and the medieval section of the city.

Sitting comfortably alongside are two of Italy’s most important yachting companies; AMICO & Co. Shipyard and the Waterfront Marina. Both businesses are part of Genoa Superyacht Hub and Genova for Yachting nautical cluster.

This important nautical area is currently evolving further as investors and local government develop infrastructure, working on a new waterfront called the ‘Waterfront di Levante’ designed by the renowned Genoese architect Renzo Piano. The Waterfront di Levante will be ready for Autumn 2023-Spring 2024.

The intimate marina has 26 berths for yachts between 25 to 110m and countless first- class facilities for captains and crew such as a private fitness centre, yoga studio, sports terrain, crew kitchen and lounge all just a stone’s throw from Amico & Co, one of the world’s leading refit and repair centres and the centre of Genoa..

The marina office with on-site personnel will look after your every need during your stay in Genoa. Whether it be completing arrivals procedures, requesting catering, on shore accommodation, rental cars or scooters, requesting marina compatible works, liaising with Amico refit shipyard or organising a crew event or a day trip, the qualified multilingual experienced staff are here to treat you like one of the family.

Just a short ride from the Waterfront Marina is the world renowned Amico & Co shipyard specialising in large yacht refit and repair on vessels from 30 to 140m LOA.

Within its area covering 60,000m2 including 12 covered sheds, the facility is able to receive large yachts without restrictions in length, dry-docking vessels of up to 102m in covered sheds inside the shipyard and using further suitable dry-docks in Genoa port for larger projects. The yard also offers dedicated paint hangars that are specifically designed for projects up to
102 metres in length and are equipped with advanced forced ventilation systems to maintain strict temperature, humidity and emission conditions.

The yard is known for its high quality standards and the speed with which it can perform works, factors that have generated a consistent growth in the company’s reputation and an ever increasing percentage of repeat clients that happily return to Genoa.

Apart from the dry-docks, Amico & Co can offer multiple docking solutions, using its 4000T ShipLift for vessels up to 95m and its 835T and 320T travel lifts, as well as a large internal technical marina and a new berthing facility, namely the Waterfront Marina.

Clients do not only benefit from experienced project managers, but also from all the in-house skills and supervision necessary to meet the highest of standards and requirements. Because of these in-house departments, Amico & Co is able to provide a better service in terms of reliability, cost and time efficiency. The in-house teams are complemented and completed with dry- dock operations, hard standing and shed arrangements, a dedicated warehouse and storage facilities.
