We are happy to share that Blokland has come to an agreement to take over the trading assets, running contracts and customer base of BT Marine Nederland.
This agreement further strengthens the position of Blokland as a worldwide propulsion expert and manufacturer.
Leo Ritmeester officially finished working after 22 years with BT Marine Nederland. During this time at BT Marine Nederland, Leo has been instrumental in the sale, design manufacture and supply of propulsion systems and accessories across the Netherlands market and beyond.
Leo has spent his entire working life in the marine industry and his knowledge and experience will be sorely missed. During his career, Leo has earned respect of colleagues, customers and even competitors for his genuine warmth and friendly nature along with a depth of knowledge of propulsion systems that few can match. Leo will be involved with Blokland for a short period of time for a smooth transition of running contracts and customer base.
BT Marine and Blokland already enjoy an existing trading relationship which will further ensure that the transition will be seamless and that all customers will experience the same level of service and support that they have historically received from BT Marine Nederland.
BT Marine will work closely with Blokland to support and share information relating to on-going and historical contracts and pledge to assist in any way possible for the successful business of Blokland moving forwards.
