“Our teams of engineers have the know-how to translate creative design visions into physical reality – no matter how complex the request,” says Herwig Schmallegger, project manager at List GC. “We don’t see problems. We see challenges to be solved.”
These challenges range from integrating bespoke mechanisms and lighting systems to adapting architectural concepts to tight onboard tolerances and maritime regulations. Whether it’s a sliding panel hidden behind a mother-of-pearl wall or a climate-controlled wine cabinet that blends invisibly into a curved bulkhead, precision and practicality always go hand in hand.
A LEGACY OF ICONIC PROJECTS
The company is currently working on 13 new superyacht interiors scheduled for delivery between 2025 and 2027. Most of List GC’s projects remain strictly confidential, but the company is proud to talk about a few of them.
Among the most renowned projects is the MY AHPO, a 115-metre masterpiece delivered by Lürssen. List GC was responsible for outfitting 745 m² of interior space, including the Spa Area, Saloon, Wine Storage and Informal Lounge. The result is a seamless blend of luxury, detail and engineering intelligence – with surfaces ranging from stylish mother-of-pearl 3D varnish to teak ceiling in leaf form, fine stitched leather and complex lighting control systems.
