Tribute to Yachting:
Guillaume Plisson’s photographic exhibition at Monaco Yacht Show 2025

As part of its commitment to offering an ever more immersive experience, the Monaco Yacht Show will host “Tribute to Yachting”, an exclusive photographic exhibition by renowned French photographer Guillaume Plisson.

This new artistic initiative reflects the Show’s ambition to enrich the visitor journey with a deeper emotional dimension—highlighting the artistry behind the world of yachting.

A special preview of the exhibition will be unveiled during the MYS Grand Opening Night on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show, where a curated selection of images will offer guests an exclusive foretaste of the full photographic journey awaiting visitors throughout MYS.

From September 24 to 27, 2025, 100 large-format photographs will be displayed across the entire MYS area in Port Hercule.

Carefully integrated into the natural rhythm of the event, these works will accompany the Show attendees during their visit, offering visual pauses—moments of reflection—within the vibrant atmosphere of the docks.

“With “Tribute to Yachting”, we’re opening the Monaco Yacht Show to new forms of artistic expression — inviting visitors to rediscover yachting not only through its innovations or prestige, but through the deep emotions it stirs: wonder and connection. This collaboration with Guillaume Plisson reflects the MYS’s desire to celebrate the human side of yachting — the stories, the dreams, the quiet beauty that move us beyond the surface.” — Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director, Monaco Yacht Show

Plisson’s lens captures the essence of yachting in all its facets: the power of design, the elegance of movement behind the scenes, and the promise of a lifestyle that is both rare and inspiring. “This exhibition was born from a shared desire with the Monaco Yacht Show: to offer an artistic and emotional perspective on the world of yachting. But none of this would have been possible without the concrete and steadfast support of the entire industry. Owners, shipyards, designers, crews… All contributed to making these images possible. By granting access to the yachts, sharing moments at sea, and allowing room for the intuition of my gaze, they have helped build, year after year, a visual memory of contemporary yachting. With the MYS, this exhibition was conceived as a condensed retrospective of this photographic journey—to reveal the diversity, emotions, and richness of a world often elusive—and as a grateful tribute to all those who embody the universe of yachting.” — Guillaume Plisson.

More than a showcase, this exhibition tells untold stories, inviting visitors to see beyond the surface of the yachts and into the heart of the craft, passion, and vision that shape them.

By weaving this artistic narrative into the broader experience of the Show, the Monaco Yacht Show reinforces its core values: innovation, design, sustainability, excellence, and lifestyle. It also responds to an industry-wide aspiration—to inspire new clients by renewing their sense of wonder and emotional connection with yachting. Guillaume Plisson’s work adds a new layer to the MYS experience. It’s not only about seeing the best the industry has to offer—it’s about feeling it.

Gaëlle Tallarida – Managing Director, Monaco Yacht Show
With the launch of Blue Wake, our aim is to bring visibility and clarity to the commitment of companies actively contributing to a more sustainable yachting industry. The programme helps yacht owners and project developers quickly identify exhibitors capable of meeting their expectations in terms of eco-responsible production and equipment. The enthusiastic response from exhibitors highlights a real need: to shine a light on solutions that are not only visionary, but already in place and ready to support the industry’s transformation.”

Robert van Tol – Executive Director, Water Revolution Foundation
Our role in the Blue Wake programme is to ensure that the vetting process is both credible and rigorous. By publishing the first vetted solutions from exhibitors, we are guaranteeing that these solutions meet high standards of environmental performance, specifically for yachting, and are able to properly proof these credentials. This work supports the industry’s shift towards more sustainable practices but also proper validation of claims. – There are innovations in every corner of the yachting sector, enhancing both product and process, these deserve the spotlight and shall no longer be overlooked or seen as feature. In order to accelerate on the trajectory of net-zero in 2050, yachting needs to adopt what is already available while continuing to collaborate on further innovations needed. Both for new build projects and the existing fleet.”
