THE ACADEMY
Created in 2023 in Monaco with Jonathan Beckett, CEO of Burgess, as ambassador, The Academy is an advanced training establishment offering upgrades for tourism professionals such as yacht crews and hoteliers. The Academy is a unique training programme for yacht interior crew as it incorporates the teaching of MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) professors, each excelling in their respective category. UKSA
Training provider UKSA has responded to the industry’s demand for entry level superyacht interior crew by launching an enhanced Superyacht Stewardess and Steward course starting in February 2024. The new five week premium all-inclusive course has been developed to align with the IAMI GUEST Programme and is delivered by UKSA’s superyacht instructors Ben and Holly Cooke of The Little Gloster, alongside Gary Williams, Principal of the British Butler Institute. Students will learn the ‘5 Golden Pillars’ of service excellence and experience UKSA’s unique superyacht training centre which includes a fully equipped cabin and dining room, superyacht galley and laundry room to ensure students experience a comprehensive and simulating experience.
