Warsash Maritime School, part of Solent University, Southampton has a long-established history of promoting professionalism and excellence in the maritime industry. For over 70 years they have ofered maritime professionals first class education and training. Always at the forefront of maritime provision, they pioneered the use of bridge, engine room and liquid cargo operations simulators.
And during the Covid-19 pandemic, the school pivoted to sophisticated digital educational provision. In the last few years, the school has invested tens of millions of pounds in new facilities, including in the UK’s largest Maritime Simulation Centre; new engineering workshops; an ETO lab; and at the Manned Model Ship Handling Centre, the only facility of its kind in the UK.


Seascope has been in operation since 2004 in the UK ofering a range of STCW TRAINING COURSES to the highest maritime standards. Seascope holds accreditation from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, (MCA) under the UK Department of Transport. The team at Seascope was set up by Alfie Hincks, when he decided to leave his own career at sea and dedicate his life to teaching safety courses to seafarers. Alfie has an amazing passion for teaching and an ability to share his knowledge with students in a fun and friendly manner. With Alfie at the helm, Seascope quickly gained a solid reputation as a professional and dedicated training provider and his school in Liverpool became one of the most popular in Northern England, providing training over the years to literally thousands and thousands of seafarers from the commercial shipping sector. Over the past few years, the company has since opened locations in Antibes and Palma.


The Maritime Skills Academy is helping the industry set new standards by delivering a higher level of deck and engine simulation, marine, fire and safety training. Today, with a focus on personal service, the MSA ofers over 500 expert courses to over 5,000 delegates annually. As a Maritime & Coastguard Agency, Global Wind Organisation, GUEST accredited course provider and UK Chamber of Shipping recognised centre, they are as proud to be meeting the high standards of commercial operators as they are in supporting individuals to maintain or build their professional development. With training centres in Portsmouth, Dover and Gibraltar the MSA ofers simulator training in BRM, ship handling, tug operations, Polar Code and Engine Simulator training in ERM, High Voltage, plus STCW Safety, commercial Fire, medical, GWO and Hospitality training. Ofering complete training management, they provide world-class centres with state-of-the-art locations, supporting delegates from around the world.

UKSA is one of the world’s top providers of MCA yacht certificates, ofering a comprehensive range of MCA and STCW approved courses, including Safety, Security and Engineering Training through to MCA Deck Offcer and Master training for superyachts and workboats. Training is delivered from the all-inclusive centre in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, England. The dedicated training centre provides modern, specialised classrooms with up-to-date technology, engineering workshops and TRANSAS suites.
