SEVEN SINS combines Italian design flair with engineering ingenuity, from the glass-bottomed pool to the drive-in tender garage. The multi-award-winning 52m motor yacht from Sanlorenzo is the ultimate charter yacht delivering unparalleled ocean living
When SEVEN SINS was delivered in 2017, she arrived quietly, her presence a soft exhale rather than a loud announcement. Crafted in steel by Sanlorenzo and styled with elegant restraint by Officina Italiana Design she exuded quiet authority. There were no needless flourishes – just a deeply considered luxury whose power lay in refinement.
Her name – SEVEN SINS – strikes a clever irony. Each supposed “sin” feels like a virtue: interiors glow with natural light, designs flow effortlessly from deck to sea, and transformative moments – like when the beach club reveals itself in a subtle theatre of light and water. On board, envy is not incited by overt grandeur, but by the sense that you’re experiencing something uniquely thoughtful, timeless, and inevitably desirable.
SEVEN SINS skirts just under the 500 GT threshold – a critical volume limit in yacht classification – yet she feels far grander, as if she inhabited a scale more common to 60-metre vessels. This illusion is by design. Most notably, the aft deck hosts a glass-bottomed pool – about 4.5 metres across – doubling as an architectural prism, filtering daylight into the beach club below. It’s an atrium afloat, a moment of natural theatre that heightens the sensation of space.
Accommodation & Crew
SEVEN SINS accommodates up to 11 guests in five stylish cabins: a full-beam master suite on the main deck, two VIP staterooms, a double and a twin cabin, one of which is convertible to a double. This thoughtful layout ensures comfort and privacy for all guests.
A dedicated crew of 11 ensures an exceptional experience, providing attentive service and personalized care throughout your journey. Their presence allows for a seamless and luxurious charter experience, where every detail is meticulously attended to.
Leisure
The beach club floor, crafted of teak, lowers hydraulically to become the tender garage. Flooded, the tender glides in; then the water drains, the floor rises, and the area transforms into a serene leisure space. All this unfolds without flair or show – just smooth, purposeful mechanics that read more as poetry than engineering.
Below, the pool’s refracted light brightens the wellness suite – a gym, sauna, steam room, and spa hugs the waterline. Here, fitness and leisure converge in architecture, not afterthought, allowing you to slide effortlessly from work out to seawater plunge.
SEVEN SINS includes a generous suite of water toys – Jet Skis, SeaBobs, paddleboards, an inflatable trampoline, snorkel gear, fishing equipment – designed for exploration, activity, and effortless play. Yet even here, nothing feels overly showy; rather, each item underscores functionality in a luxe context.
Interiors
Stepping inside, off-white, beige, taupe and warm wood tones create a serene palette that feels both modern and enduring. A Carrara marble staircase, seemingly floating, sweeps upward to a full-beam master suite. There, privacy and practicality cohabit in equal measure: a restful lounge, a fully appointed office, generous wardrobe space, and a refined bath form a personal sanctuary.
Throughout the yacht, off-white gloss ceilings, pale marble accents and bronze-mirrored screens reflect daylight and expand perception. The effect: a light-filled, spacious interior that never feels ostentatious, only deeply comfortable and luxurious.
Dining and Relaxing
Rather than shoehorning grand dining into the main saloon, the designers moved it to the upper deck – freeing the central living area into a luminous, open-plan lounge. Here, a mirrored wall cleverly conceals a cinema screen; light filters through expansive windows, and seating invites quiet conversations or cosy cinematic afternoons.
SEVEN SINS is in harmony with the ocean wherever she goes. Floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves boundaries – from the main saloon to the sun deck balustrades. The foredeck becomes a quiet retreat for sunrise coffee; the sun deck unfolds into an open-air living room outfitted with Paola Lenti furnishings, cushioned lounges, a granite-topped bar, and a dining table for 12 – inviting casual yet elegant al fresco gatherings.
Technical Details
Propulsion comes from twin Caterpillar engines, enabling a quiet cruise of 12–15 knots, with a top speed around 17 knots and a remarkable range nearing 4,000 nautical miles. Advanced stabilizers ensure smooth motion at sea or at anchor – a fluid voyage matching her fluid design. Remarkably, the yacht is wheelchair-accessible, a subtle but meaningful affirmation that inclusivity and elegance need not be mutually exclusive.
Awards
The industry took note. At the Monaco Yacht Show in 2017, she received “Best Interior Design.” In 2018, the World Superyacht Awards named her top in the Displacement Motor Yachts Below 500GT category. Additional accolades followed in Asia, underscoring that her quiet luxury resonated globally.
Summary
SEVEN SINS masterfully blends Italian design flair with engineering ingenuity. Her serene interiors and minimalist aesthetic create a calming onboard atmosphere, while expansive decks, a beach club, and wellness area ensure effortless indulgence throughout guest charter.
